Malaria Studies in Israel of Iodine effect on mice

Studies have been conducted in Israel at the Hebrew University of Jerusalem using nascent iodine in the treatment of mice infected with malaria. These studies gave the iodine at various dilution levels twice a day by garvage (oral inserted).

Results were promising at the weakest levels of iodine (most diluted). The first study showed the best results.

A second study was conducted with the results being less effective. The nascent iodine used in this study had been prepared in a non standard method and should not have been used for an important test.
