About Us

John Brookshire, who has been working in the aerospace industry for 27 years, graduated from Mississippi College with majors in both physics and math. His wife of 32 years, June, is an educator and counselor. Their three sons, Jonathan, Matthew, and Daniel, are grown up now. John and June have been interested in holistic and alternative health methods for many years, and a few years ago John became aware of a traditional medicine iodine formula which was used in the 1930's. John stated, "This traditional remedy from India has wide-ranging applications today, even more than when it was used in the 1930's." Today, we have developed a product that is a consumable form of nascent iodine, which is called Magnascent Iodine.

Because of our shared belief in helping others with this amazing product, we have also invited Terri Bilbo and Pamela Lee to help Magnascent reach its goals. Terri's people skills and marketing expertise fit well with Pamela's computer and systems experience in helping to bring this product to those interested in complementary and alternative health products. Pamela has been in her current employment of aviation for over a quarter of a century. Terri graduated from Baylor University in 1986, and has been fighting small cell cancer of the lung and brain since 2002. She believes it is Magnascent that has helped her to win the battle against this deadly disease. She is now testing clear of cancer.

The corporation which John named "Shield Bearer Inc." began as an organization to find a simple and affordable method to help those millions in the world who suffer from malaria. At the request of missionaries working in Southern Africa, we searched and found an iodine supplement similar to one produced in the 1930's that, according to historical information, helped to heal malaria. After a few years of use, it was found that there was a more extensive manufacturing process that would actually break the diatomic bond, changing the molecule into the atomic state of iodine, or nascent state. The missionary, who originally requested help for his mission, has used it for several years in treating malaria, with great success.

While we were studying Magnascent Iodine's amazing ability to help heal malaria, we also discovered that this iodine when put through an intense electromagnetic field will increase one's energy, supply iodine to those who are fighting cancer, and will pump up the immune system.
